February Book Club Pick

“Something to Live For: My Postnatal Depression and How the NHS Saved Us” by Laura Canty is this month’s book club pick. Described as “A moving and refreshingly honest memoir to finally lift the lid on PND and the mental health problems so many mums face. Full of truth and hope, Something to Live For is a special book about the little discussed realities of the illness - and how Laura overcame it”.

This is a very personal pick for me having had my own journey with post natal depression after having our beautiful daughter. I read this book after first getting diagnosed and it gave me such tremendous hope. A very real read but with great moments of humour, I hope you also enjoy this month’s book pick.
